Chef / Cook
Vacancy exists for suitable person to prepare and deliver meals to a professional standard for up to 8 clients and 4 crew (including yourself) on our 19 metre luxury mothership. Charters consist of 6,7 or 8 day trips. Successful applicant needs to be skilled, clean, motivated and be able to work as a team in a remote area. Position involves stock control and ordering. Domestic / Hostess
Vacancy exists for suitable person to assist the chef and look after onboard domestic requirements. Applicant needs to be clean and tidy by nature with an eye for detail. . Deckhand / Fishing Guide
Vacancy exists for suitable person to join our team of two (2) deckhand/fishing guides. Fishing Guide. Vacancy exists for suitable person to join our team of (4) fishing guides. Must have recreational ship masters license. (boat drivers license) Coxswains ticket an advantage. The successful person needs a sound knowledge of sport fishing practices and techniques, be a passionate skilled angler and competent handling tiller steer outboard powered boats. A willingness to learn, neat tidy appearance and team spirit also required. A typical onboard day for Chef and Hostess. Breakfasts are continental and laid the night before, Chef hostess add items not laid previous night (fruits, juice, milk etc.) to continental breakfast have breakfast themselves as clients rise have breakfast and prepare themselves for the days fishing. Anglers and guides disembark to skiffs for mornings fishing by 8.00am generally. Chefs morning spent preparing foods and hostess tidying vessel setting tables vacuuming floors stocking fridges, servicing bathrooms etc. Anglers returned for lunch at 12 noon. Serve and eat lunch. By 2.00pm lunch is cleared away and anglers are out fishing again, chef and hostess have free time (provided all is done) until 4.30 ‘ish to relax on board go fishing, boating, exploring etc. Anglers return around 6pm. Prepared snacks (sashimi, battered fish pieces or platters) is laid upstairs for clients, dinner preparation and cooking continues for eating around 8.00pm. By 9.30pm all is cleared up and laying of next days breakfast is completed with the help of the fishing guides.
The day before a trip is a half day preparation / loading day and the day after is a half day wash down clean up / prepare for the next trip half day.
